Feldman Headquarters Receives 2018 Preservation Achievement Award
At Feldman, we have a passion for helping preserve historic buildings and sites in and around Boston. Some that we have contributed to include Boston Public Library, the Paul Revere House and Minute Man National Historical Park.
Cultivating Hampden St.
With the goal of repurposing, our new home was a Victorian Eclectic warehouse – a 19th century structure that was originally owned by Boston Piano Company. Feldman knew an injection of business was what the community needed.
Innovative Partnership
Michael Feldman, CEO and President, saw the building’s potential. An extensive renovation was performed to create a brewery space on the first floor. Flying Embers is a better-for-you alcohol company and we are excited to welcome them.
Preservation Achievement Award
This award is presented to projects that epitomize exceptional achievements in historic preservation and compatible new construction. It’s such a great honor that the Boston Preservation Alliance awarded our headquarters a recipient of the prestigious 2018 Preservation Achievement Award.
“152 Hampden Street was selected because it demonstrates the creative fusion of a contemporary city. Moreover, with a brew pub to welcome locals into the building and Feldman embracing the neighborhood, it exemplifies the highest level of community-based preservation.”
